1. Mill Creek

It is more affordable than Seattle proper, but the homes are stately with plenty of space and luxury. Mill Creek also features plenty of scenic views around town since it has many old-growth trees.
2. Snohomish
Snohomish County is also home to Snohomish the city, also known as the Antique Capital of the Northwest due to the number of antique shops that line the streets of its downtown area.
Snohomish doesn’t lack character — it’s listed as a historic place on the national register. Here you’ll find many gorgeous turn of the century Victorian homes. A handful of them even have plaques describing their history.
If you prefer a new home, you can also find that in Snohomish, along with plenty of rural space. You can also get out and get active by visiting one of Snohomish’s beautiful parks or visiting the Snohomish Aquatic Center.
3. Bothell
Do you want to live in a hip, modern area? Or do you want to live a little closer to Seattle? If this is you, then Bothell is a great option.
Bothell is located in both King and Snohomish County, so you’ll be living around 20 miles from the city center. Bothell is an up and coming hotspot, with a brand new Town Center currently under construction. Now is a great time to get your foot in the door.
Homes in Bothell are a mix of new construction and older, established homes. It has great schools for the kids, too!
4. Edmonds
If you want your home to be close to the water, then you should consider exploring the homes in Edmonds!
Edmonds feels like a small town, but it is a mere 15 miles northwest of Seattle on the Puget Sound. It has a mixture of entry-level homes for first-time owners and super luxurious waterfront homes. There are plenty of quaint coffee shops and restaurants to enjoy in town, along with the Edmonds Arts Center.
